The Youngstown State University Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of six new trustees to its Board of Trustees, with three-year terms that began on May 12, 2025.
The group includes Denise Glinatsis Bayer, John P. Daliman, James F. Kravec, Tina Navarro Misel, Molly Seals, and Simon Werle.

Daliman, James Kravec, Tina Navarro Misel, Molly Seals, and Simon Werle for agreeing to join the Board and share their knowledge and expertise to advance the Foundation’s mission,” said YSU Foundation Board of Trustees Chair Nader Atway.
Denise Glinatsis Bayer is Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Premier/WesBanco, where she administers trusts, estates, and foundations. Prior to becoming a trust officer, Denise actively practiced law for 15 years. She received her BFA from YSU and a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve School of Law. Bayer and her siblings created the Maria Coutris Glinatsis Memorial Scholarship at the YSU Foundation to honor their mother, who was a teacher in the Youngstown City School District.
Atty. John P. Daliman is the chief legal officer of Windsor House Inc. He received his BA in Mathematics from YSU and his JD from the University of Akron. He is currently on the YMCA of Youngstown board, the John and Dorothy Masternick Foundation Board, and the Penguin Club Board. Daliman also made a contribution of $100,000 to YSU’s recent Beeghly Center renovation project.
Dr. James Kravec is the Chief Clinical Officer for Mercy Health Youngstown and Lorain. He received his BS in Combined Science at YSU and completed his MD at Northeast Ohio Medical University, and has been an internal medicine physician at Mercy Health for 20 years. He led and implemented the creation of the Mercy Health Wick Primary Care office, which provides healthcare services to students on YSU’s campus. Currently, he also serves as medical director for Mahoning County Public Health.
Tina Navarro Misel has worked in the natural gas industry for 31 years in both union and leadership positions, most recently holding the title of Gas Distribution Strategic Business Advisor. Her volunteer background includes organizing and implementing many volunteer events for Enbridge Gas Ohio (formerly Dominion Energy), as well as Hospice in Wayne County and at her children’s schools. Her family ties with YSU are strong; long-time YSU supporters and donors Shorty and Elba Navarro are her aunt and uncle.
Molly Seals devoted over 30 years to her career in human resources, most recently having served as Vice President of Human Resources from Mercy Health. She received her AAB from YSU, her Bachelor of Science degree from NYU and her MBA from Bowling Green State University. She is a former YSU trustee, as well as the Immediate Past Vice Chair at the Wean Foundation. Seals also serves on the Butler Art Institute HR Advisory Committee, Junior Civic League of Youngstown, and the Youngstown Community Housing Board of Trustees. In 2018, she and her husband established the Seals Family Scholarship at the YSU Foundation.
Simon Werle is a Private Bank Market Manager at Huntington Bank. He received his bachelor’s degree from YSU and has continued to support the university through his work with individuals and Foundations through their use of estate gifts, grants, and charitable donations. Werle serves on the Coleman Health Services Board as their Vice President and is also the Board Chair for the Warren Area Chamber Economic Development Foundation. He also serves on the Kilcawley: Centered on the Future campaign committee.
