This scholarship was established by the Rochette family in 2020 to honor the memory of Emily A. Rochette, daughter of Jan and Jim Rochette and sister of Hank Rochette. Circumstances required Emily to move several times while pursuing her degree. She attended YSU but graduated from Cleveland State with a dual major in psychology and philosophy. YSU remained closest to her heart and was fondly her favorite. This scholarship will serve as a legacy to Emily’s dedication and care for others. The Rochette family is proud to endow this scholarship in Emily’s name, ensuring that future female students will benefit from this scholarship at Youngstown State University.
