Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2016 by David J. and Laurie J. Moore. Both are Youngstown State University graduates. David earned a B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering in 1975 and an M.S.E. in Chemical Engineering in 1978. Laurie earned a B.E. in Chemical Engineering in 1977 and a Master of Engineering in 1984 from the University of Pittsburgh. Laurie was the first female Engineer of the Year in 1977.
They created this scholarship endowment to aid women in the study and completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
